Unifor Reaches Deal With CP Rail

An agreement is reached between CP Rail and Unifor, miniutes before the deadline.

The Union says a new tentative agreement has been negotiated.

Unifor members conduct safety inspections on all rail cars and locomotives, as well as maintenance and repairs.

Ratification votes take place across the country over the next three weeks.

However, contract talks failed with Teamsters members, last night. Engineers and conductors began striking after midnight.
