In what has now become a string of armed robberies this weekend, police say several arrests have been made following the latest incident.
They say just before 9 o’clock last night, a woman brandishing a semi-automatic pistol threatened staff at Shopper’s Drug Mart on Red River Road, and made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
Officers say they found the getaway vehicle parked at a north side residence. The firearm was recovered and several people were arrested.
The suspect, however, in a number of thefts using pepper spray, yesterday is still at large.
