A memorial walk for missing and murdered indigenous women is being held today.
It’s the seventh year for the event that’s held to call attention to the disproportionate number of Anishinabe and Metis women who die or go missing as a result of violence.
The walk kicks off at 2 p.m., at the Lakehead Labour Centre.
