Crews Busy Plowing Streets

The first major snowfall of the season is keeping city work crews busy.

Spokesperson Brad Adams says that all of the major streets will be plowed by the end of the day and they hope to get at least one lane of the side streets cleared as well.

Adams says the goal is to get all the roads complete in 72 hours and the sidewalks in 5 or 6 days. He says sidewalk plowing is a challenge because the snow is so deep in some places.

Adams is reminding you to watch for parking restrictions on your street which helps move the process along quicker. (File photo)
