Mattress Catches Fire At North Side Hotel

There are no injuries to report after a mattress caught fire at the Shoreline Motor Hotel, early Saturday morning.

Firefighters say first arriving crews were able to contain damage to the smoldering mattress, and smoke damage to the third floor room.

People were evacuated to the hotel lobby, as officials worked to put the blaze out.

How the mattress caught fire is unknown at this time.
