Housing starts are down for the year in Thunder Bay.
Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation is out with it’s review of 2014.
Analyst Warren Philp says we only had 234 new units built compared to 2013’s 324 starts.
Philp adds there’s a glut of houses on the market for resale and that played a part in the slower construction year as well.
