There’s concern over winter highway maintenance on the north shore of Lake Superior.
It follows a weekend where Highway 17 between Terrace Bay and Marathon was closed for a good deal of Saturday and much of Sunday. The Ministry of Transportation says the contractor’s operations are being reviewed at this time to see whether contract requirements were fulfilled during that time period.
