More and more people are taking advantage of distance education in Northwestern Ontario. Contact North says enrolment is up 28-percent this year. President Maxim Jean-Louis attributes the increase to the programming colleges and universities are offering. He also believes local residents find it to be a convenient way to access programs without leaving home or quitting their job.
