Brace yourself for colder temperatures this week.
Monday’s ice storm has moved onto Quebec, but in its place, colder than normal temperatures.
Environment Canada’s Geoff Coulson says our high for most of the week will sit around minus 5.
“Really what we’re seeing going forward for the rest of this week and into the weekend, is a couple of weaker systems coming in from the prairies. We’re look at temperatures staying below normal for this time of year, so the cold air is back to stay for the next few days,” he says.
“To put things into context, a normal high at this time of year, should be around minus 1 degree.”
Coulson says Thursday looks to be the coldest day of the week with a high of minus 12.
