The head of Lakehead University Athletics is not upset that his men’s hockey team will not be able to make the new event centre their permanent home.
Tom Warden says during discussions with the Thunder Bay Live consortium, it became obvious early on that the Thunderwolves would play only marquee games at the facility, but even Warden can’t say what that means.
He says whatever games those might be or whatever the number might be or the specifics aren’t clear at this point. Warden says the university plans to work with the city to look at alternatives for other games. (Audio Below)
