The roster is in place for the Lakehead University men’s hockey team. The Thunderwolves says they will carry a total of 26 players which includes 17 forwards, 7 defencemen and 2 goalies. Seven of the players are freshmen.
The 17 forwards are fifth-year senior Ryan Magill; seniors Jason Grecica, Mike Hammond, Keith Grondin and Jake Carrick; juniors Carson Dubchak and Kelin Ainsworth; sophomores Cody Alcock, David Quesnele and Matt Kaarela; and freshmen Nathan Cull, Jake Wright, Austin McDonald, Dylan Butler, Trevor Hynnes, Brennen Dubchak and E.J. Faust.
The 7 defencemen are fifth-year senior Mike Quesnele; seniors Luke Maw and Mitch Fillman; junior Jay Gilbert; and sophomores Andrew Tessier, Nathan Bruyere and Cody Kostecki.
The 2 goalies are senior Jeff Bosch and sophomore Justin McDonald.
