Housing Market OK

It’s still a mixed bag when it comes to the number of housing starts in Thunder Bay.
The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation is out with it’s latest stats for July which saw 30 new single detached starts.
CMHC Analyst Warren Philp says despite a better July we’re still not doing as well as we once did.
Philp says a weaker employment rate has also slowed the new construction market.
