One person is dead after an incident in the Intercity area.
Thunder Bay Fire Rescue responded to calls of a small grass fire in the Field Street area, across the street from Sears, at around 10:00 on Friday night.
When fire crews arrived on scene, a man was found with serious burn injuries and was taken to hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Fire crews notified city police, who quickly blocked off the area to the public.
Police were seen using a remote controlled drone to search the brush in the area yesterday.
Thunder Bay Police remain at the scene and are investigating the incident.
A post mortem for the unidentified man is scheduled for Monday in Toronto.
