Oliver Paipoonge wants to see Bryfam Enterprises get approval from the Ministry of Health for a medical marijuana growing operation in the communities industrial park.
The company approached town council in May and Mayor Lucy Klusterhuis says it seemed like a good deal.
If the Ministry approves of the project, town council will have to rezone the property to allow for the operation.
