Roots to Harvest and Lakehead Public Schools are teaming up to feed high school students local food.
They’ve launched the Farm to Caf program at the City’s four public secondary schools.
Roots to Harvest Spokesperson Erin Beagle says for five dollars students will get very nutritious tasty home grown food.
Cafeteria staff will work with teachers and classes to prepare and serve the food on the local food days each month.
