Every weekday morning, I have the privilege of sitting in our beautiful new studio at 91 S. Cumberland, look out over the Marina and the Sleeping Giant, and share a sunrise with the city I love. That view never gets old, and neither does the energy of starting the day with you.
For almost 5 years now, the mission has stayed the same:
Keep it fun. Keep it informative. Keep it relevant. And of course, play the best music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
From 6am to 10am, I’m proud to guide Thunder Bay into the day — and from 7 to 8:30, I’m joined by John Ongaro. Together, we dive into everything the city is buzzing about: local issues, city hall chatter, potholes, snow removal, and all the everyday things that make Thunder Bay…Thunder Bay. Trust me, nothing is off the table.

And of course, the show wouldn’t be the same without the features listeners have come to love:
⭐ Impossible Trivia Question – 6:35am
No Googling — just brainpower. Every morning, we test your curiosity with a question that proves you really do learn something new every day.
⭐ Just A Sec – 7:35am
One second. One song clip. Can you name the artist and title? It’s fast and fun.
⭐ $100 in Lotto Tickets
Sometimes we ask you to text the word JACKPOT. Other times, we want a picture of what you’re doing… or even the inside of your fridge. All for a shot at an OLG voucher.
⭐ Concert Tickets & More
From big shows to local events, we’re always finding ways to get you in the door.
At its heart, Mornings In The Bay is about connection — keeping you informed about what’s happening around the city, while also giving you a break from the morning grind with great music, laughs, and a little bit of escape.
Whether you’re driving to work, getting the kids ready, or sipping that first cup of coffee, I’m grateful to be part of your morning routine. And remember — you can always reach out.
