Update: 911 services fully functional following Tbaytel service disruption

All issues with city police’s telephone system have been resolved.

A Tbaytel service disruption impacted 911 and non-emergency phone lines at the police station between 10:49 p.m. on Friday and 1:47 p.m. on Saturday.

During the disruption, 911 calls were experiencing intermittent silence and calls were dropping.

When an emergency call dropped an operator would call back.

Tbaytel initially reported the service disruption on its Facebook page around noon on Friday.
