60 Active Cases In The Region

A single digit day of COVID-19 cases in the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.

Just six new ones recorded Thursday with another 12 resolved, which brings the active count down to 60.

Two of the new infections were picked up through travel outside of Northwest Ontario while three others don’t have a case cause yet.

There are nine active cases of COVID-19 within Lakehead Public Schools and 25 in the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board.

In Ontario 2,421 new cases of COVID-19 with 758 coming from those who aren’t fully vaccinated and 133 from individuals with an unknown vaccination status.
