Five people are charged with a variety of drug-related offences after police seized nearly $58,000 in drugs.
The seizure comes after the joint task force searched a north-side residence on Cumberland Street South.
Five people were inside the residence at the time of the search.
Meanwhile, an officer observed one of the male occupants of the residence, throwing items from the balcony outside. Those items are believed to be cocaine and crack cocaine and were located and seized by police.
They have future court dates.
