374 Active COVID-19 Cases

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit reports 40 new cases of COVID-19.

Here’s the breakdown of the new cases:

  • 24 cases obtained from someone else who had the virus
  • 14 case causes are pending
  • One case tied to travel outside of Northwestern Ontario
  • One case with no known exposure

The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre reports nine of the 29 patients who have been admitted for COVID-19 are in the Intensive Care Unit.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit also says that 42 cases have been resolved.

Ontario reports 966 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday and 11 deaths.
