A child pornography investigation that started in May 2020 has lead to the arrest of a Nipigon man.
The investigation was carried out by the Ontario Provincial Police detachment in the town.
They found multiple electronic devices at the Nipigon residence.
The individual’s name is not being released due to a publication ban.
The 29-year-old is facing one count of possession of child pornography, and one count of accessing child pornography.
A day in court is expected August 2021 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay.
