A big investment coming to Silver Islet from the Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Commission (CEDC) and Tourism Thunder Bay.
They presented a big cheque of $30,000 to the Silver Islet Harbour Association (SIH).
SIH will be using the new cash to continue to upgrade it’s harbour and mooring capacity.
The harbour will be able to increase capacity and host various visitors from cruise ships or other boaters from Thunder Bay and District.
Silver Islet is getting more attention as it’s one spots that Viking Cruise lines passes through on it’s way to Thunder Bay
