Summer travel to the United States may get better this year.
Statistics Canada says over 343,600 trips were made by Canadians to the U.S. last summer.
Some travel restrictions were beginning to ease at that time.
Over 86,300 trips were taken for holidays, leisure or recreation.
Business travel accounted for 51,800 trips.
The travel is twice that taken during the summer of 2020, but is still a fraction of the 7.5 million taken by Canadians between July and September of 2019.
