Just minor injuries to a firefighter after flames broke out at a home on Simpson Street.
The call was put out at approximately 6:35 p.m. Wednesday to what became a two alarm blaze on the south side of Thunder Bay.
The response included five pumpers, a pumper rescue, an aerial ladder and the Mobile Command Unit.
The cause and origin of the fire is under investigation.

Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
