More Snow On The Way…

Travel plans might have to be altered.

Environment Canada has a snowfall warning out for Thunder Bay and Superior West, which could mean as much as 25 centimetres on the ground near the border to the United States and higher terrain southwest of the city.

The low pressure system system is expected to track east across northern Minnesota Monday.

There’s also a winter weather travel advisory for Dryden, Ignace, Kenora and Fort Frances areas including Highway 17 from Shabaqua to Kenora and Highway 11 from Shabaqua to Rainy River.

Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
