UPDATE: Road Closure West Of Thunder Bay

Travel is back open west of Thunder Bay.

Highway 17 from Shabaqua to Upsala was off limits due to a collision Tuesday afternoon.

No injuries have been reported and the Ontario Provincial Police re-opened the roadway just before 11:00 p.m. Tuesday.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
