GIRLS NIGHT OUT

WOOT WOOT It’s Saturday night and it’s time for girls night out! This week on the show we talked about times you should NOT be on your phone, who the next bond might be and things only Canadians will understand.

KELLY & CAIRO’S FOOD FOR THOUGHT

COCKTAIL OF THE WEEK: APPLE CINNAMON HOT TODDY

Ingredients:

3 Cups of apple cider

5 whole cloves

2 Star Anise

2 cinnamon sticks

¼ tsp peppercorns

Half an orange

½’’ ginger

½ cup honey

4oz brandy

Directions:

All all the ingredients to a pot except for the honey and brandy. Bring the mixture up to a simmer, turn to low, cover and simmer for about 10 minutes. Turn the heat off and let sit for 5 minutes. Put a shot of brandy in each mug and strain out the cider mixture and put it back in the pot. Add in the honey and stir well and serve.

RECIPE OF THE WEEK: CARAMEL CHEESECAKE DIP

INGREDIENTS:

Regular or whipped cream cheese

Caramel topping

Cinnamon

Apples

Pretzels

Directions:

Let the cream cheese come to room temp and whip it. Mix in the caramel topping and cinnamon. Get your apples and pretzel, dip and enjoy!
