Speed limits on Arthur Street will be in the spotlight at Thunder Bay City Council.
Neebing Ward Councillor Cody Fraser is asking for a report looking at lowering speed limits and other measures to calm traffic.
He says he’s consistently getting complaints from residents about speeding on Arthur Street, and says this would be a big step to make them feel safer.
If City Council approves the idea tonight, city staff will bring them a report with recommendations by December 6th of this year.
