Police Continue Investigation At Kam River

We are expecting more detail Monday from Thunder Bay police concerning the discovery of a man’s body in the Kaministiqua River.

They were called Saturday morning to Simpson Street, near the Kam River Heritage Park.

The Major Crimes Unit is involved, and police add they may be there for a few more days.

There is no further detail, and a reminder from police to avoid the area as they process the scene.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
