Pharmacy Manager Growing The Business

Evergreen Pharmacy in Kakabeka Falls is expanding.

Manager Henry Tempelman, along with his business partner Devon Myers, tells us they are building a new site next to the existing store, which includes the gift store for travelers especially once COVID-19 has passed.

“Growing the gift shop to make it more of a destination for locals from Thunder Bay, and also tourists who would like to find more local options and vendor crafts,” says Tempelman.

He adds they’re footing the bill, hoping to have the store open by this winter or next spring. “Been working to acquire the lot for a year or so now, and once we were able to purchase the lot, and complete some remediation work that needed to get done, we got some pens to paper to get some plans drawn up.”

The pharmacy’s GM says the old building may go up for lease, whatever the building’s owner decides to do with it.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
