5 COVID-19 Cases, Active Holding Steady

There are five new COVID-19 cases for the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.

All of the cases were obtained through someone else who had the virus.

The active case count stands at 45.

The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre reports that two of the seven patients that they are treating for coronavirus are in the Intensive Care Unit.

Ontario reported 2,941 new cases Wednesday with 44 deaths.
