Active Case Count Now At 61

Health officials report the active case count in the Thunder Bay District Health Unit is now at 61.

No new deaths on Friday but there were ten new cases confirmed, all obtained through someone else who had the virus.

Another eight cases have been deemed as resolved.

The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre says two of the nine patients that are being treated for coronavirus are in the Intensive Care Unit.

The Northwestern Health Unit reports eleven new cases, which puts the active case count at 68.

In Ontario 4,505 new cases of COVID-19 and 34 deaths.
