Canada Remembers N.S. Shooting Victims

The country is marking the one-year anniversary of one of the deadliest attacks in Canadian history.

One year ago, 22 people were killed in a mass shooting in Nova Scotia.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is says his thoughts are with everyone who lost a family member or loved one, and asks Canadians to take a moment to remember the victims.

Nova Scotians will pause for a province-wide moment of silence this afternoon at 3:00 Atlantic Time.

It will be followed by a memorial ceremony organized by the Nova Scotia Remembers Legacy Society.

The memorial will be streamed from the Nova Scotia Remembers Legacy Society Facebook group.

Flags will be at half mast throughout the province.
