Daily COVID Cases Continue To Drop

Once again, resolved cases are outweighing new ones as the Thunder Bay District reports 32 new COVID-19 infections.

There are 52 resolved cases, putting the district at 379 active cases.

  • Eight people were infected by someone in their household
  • Seven others are listed as “close contact”
  • One case is tied to the Walford Retirement Home outbreak
  • Nine cases have no known exposure
  • Seven case causes are pending

Meanwhile, the province is reporting more than 1,800 cases for the first time in more than a month.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
