UPDATE: Highway 17 Open, Suspect In Custody

Update 11am, Tuesday:

A man is in police custody, after the armed robbery of a business in White River.

Provincial police say they were called around after 3am, Tuesday morning, to find the suspect had fled westbound before they got there.

A large portion of the TransCanada Highway was closed between Marathon and Terrace Bay, until the arrest just before 8am.

Police tell us they will release more information, adding the Sault Ste. Marie Crime unit is involved.
