Second COVID-19 Case At Westgate CVI

A second case of COVID-19 has been linked to Westgate CVI.

Officials with the Thunder Bay District Health Unit and Lakehead Public Schools indicate the newest diagnosis isn’t related to the previous case confirmed earlier this week.

The health unit re-iterates there’s no evidence that the virus has spread in the school setting at this time.

Meantime a coronavirus case is being connected to a person at St. Martin School.

The health unit reports it’s not considered an outbreak since there is no evidence the virus has spread through the school setting.

There’s also a COVID-19 outbreak ongoing at McKellar Park Central School.
