You may have noticed there aren’t any crossing guards working school crossings in Thunder Bay.
The city cancelled them for this morning due to the extreme cold, but, they are expected to be out for the afternoon.
The city’s policy is if the wind chill drops to -40 or below, they are called off the streets.
