COVID-19 Outbreak At Hogarth Riverview Manor

Officials have declared a COVID-19 Outbreak on the sixth floor at Hogarth Riverview Manor.

One staff member was recently confirmed to have the novel coronavirus; Consistent with provincial guidelines, the outbreak declaration in a long-term care home is made when one staff or resident is found to be positive for the virus.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit, in cooperation with St. Joseph’s Care Group, is conducting a thorough assessment of the situation, which includes enhanced surveillance, testing activities and on-site inspection.
