COVID-19 patients with potential to survive more than a year could receive priority care in hospital.
The Ontario government is considering the move, already alerting hospitals to the idea, should there be a surge of COVID-19 patients that would tax the health care system beyond what it is now.
The government adds patients would be assessed and put into a colour coded system.
It also says it hopes this is not needed.
