More People Diagnosed With COVID-19

Another five new cases of COVID-19 for the Thunder Bay District.

The health unit is reporting all got the virus from being close to someone else who has it, and all are self-isolating.

The infected people are from the Thunder Bay and surrounding area.

The health unit adds there are now 75 active cases for the region, earlier there were 82. Ontario is reporting another 1,373 new cases today, and 35 deaths.

To date, 252 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in this region since the pandemic started in March, with two people dying.
