School Board Looking For Answers

Plenty of questions are coming the province’s way. The Lakehead Public School Board has sent a letter to the Ministry of Education asking for specific answers to questions they have on reopening schools in the fall.

Some of the issues they want cleared up include whether the province will be providing money for personal protective equipment, masks and hand sanitizer.

Other questions involve whether the government will provide funding to bus companies so they can enhance their cleaning protocols.

The full letter is below.

Meanwhile, Education Minister Stephen Lecce is to make his plans for the upcoming school year known Thursday.
