A truck caught fire at a tire recycling company near the waterfront on the city’s north side.
It was located on property owned by Mid Continent Terminal at 490 Maureen Street.
Thick black smoke from the blaze could be seen throughout much of the city.
Company spokesperson Matej Rodela tells us it happened just after 10:30 this morning.
The blaze was put out quickly by fire crews.
There are no injuries to report.
