Fire has destroyed a vacant barn in rural Thunder Bay.
A fire official tells it was located on Onion Lake Road about a kilometre from Wardrope Avenue.
Crews were called to the scene just after 8 o’clock this morning.
The cause is under investigation.
Meantime a loud boom some north-side residents may have heard just after 7:30 this morning was the result of an incident with a truck on Dawson Road at Strand Avenue.
The truck’s air brakes were the problem and there was no fire.
