A man was walking his dog on the city’s north side when he got embroiled in an argument with some people drinking in an alleyway.
Police say he was walking along Egan Street and spotted three people drinking, he told them that they should find a different hangout spot as kids often play in the area.
According to police, two of the three people left the area, but the third threatened to kill the victim’s dog before attacking him.
A 46-year-old man is charged with assault.
