I’ve Had Enough: Midtown Inn Manager

Don’t expect to see as many people coming and going from the Midtown Inn.

The manager has put a sign on the front door reading “This hotel is closed”.

Kenneth Aylott tells us he’s had enough of what he calls “hooligans” and the impacts of COVID-19, and is walking away from his role.

He says the owner of the building is coming from Toronto to take over, at which time it’s expected the Inn will reopen sometime, and hopefully will be run, as he says, better. Aylott adds he will stick around to help when needed, but he also has some other business interests he wants to take care of. He wouldn’t say when the owner of the building is coming, so the closed sign will stay up indefinitely.

Aylott adds some people will be staying there under special arrangements, people who he says do not give him any trouble.

The Inn has had trouble with suspected drug trafficking and was the scene of a recent murder.
