COVID-19 testing continues in the communities surrounding Thunder Bay.
Fort William First Nation is going to host a drive-through session with the the Thunder Bay District Health Unit and Superior North EMS this weekend.
The Saturday session runs from 9 to 4 at the Community Hall on Anemki Drive.
“Testing is an important part of the overall response to this pandemic,” says Dr. Janet DeMille, Medical Officer of Health.
“This testing event will help identify individuals who may be infected with the COVID-19 virus and will provide valuable community level surveillance to help protect the community and to better understand the spread of the virus in this area.”
Fort William First Nation members living on reserve that have any symptom, even mild ones, are encouraged to be tested on Saturday.
