The occupants of a home on the 300 block of County Boulevard got a rude awakening after a car smashed into their residence.
Police report it happened just before 6 o’clock in the morning on Saturday.
With a description of the vehicle involved police were able to track down and arrest a 34 year old Thunder Bay woman on Wentworth Crescent. She is charged with impaired driving and failing to stop after an accident.
There was significant damage to the home including to the interior of the kitchen.
