Aside from COVID-19 itself, there have been some incredible ‘Never Would Have Guessed This Would Happen’ moments recently. Sunday night at 6:30 another one of those moments is taking place. All four of Canada’s major broadcasters, CBC, Bell, Rogers and Corus Entertainment are teaming up to simulcast a one hour, commercial free, multi-platform event. It’s going to be streamed online, shown on TV and broadcast on radio all at the same time!
This is historic for a number of reasons: 1. It’s all 4 companies working together, 2. It’s commercial free, 3. It’s multi-platform
The reason for the event is to help with the supply chains that keep our country’s foodbanks stocked, and the goal is $150 million.
