Thunder Bay’s Humane Society is reaching out to those who need extra help looking after their pets during the COVID-19 pandemic.
They’ve launched a complementary pet food delivery program for those who can’t venture out in search of pet food.
Officials say the program will ensure short term help during the global crisis and allow people who have strong emotional bonds with their pets, to keep their pets.
For those pet owners who are able to leave their homes during these trying times, most pet stores are offering a pay online and drop off method.
