Ontario’s Finance Minister says he is going to continue to work with auto insurance companies to see if they can help reduce the price of their plans in light of COVID-19.
Rod Phillips says he’s been in talks with the major companies.
“The initial response has to be one that reflects the challenges people are facing and the reality that I’m hearing all the time is that fewer people are driving so there must be fewer accidents,” Ford said.
The Finance Minister notes auto insurance companies need to address the current situation.
